Here's the official music video of Regine's You Don't Know written by Ogie Alcasid and directed by Direk Nani. The video can be interpreted in different ways. The most obvious would be Regine as a restaurant patron who has witnessed the relationship of real lovers Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Enjoy!

Here's an audio sampler of You Don't Know - one of the original tracks in Regine's Fantasy album. Her shorts reminded me of Mariah's in Dreamlover music video and Loverboy cd single cover - I'm really sorry if  I can't stop myself from comparing. This other picture reminded me of Dyesebel and Daryl Hannah in the movie Splash.

Darna Meets Elektra

Finally we get to see Regine's costume as Elektra. A number of Regine and Darna fans were scared that the Songbird might end up wearing cycling shorts. Good thing she looked more like one of those Walk Like an Egyptian dancers (Joke) or more like Cleopatra.

Darna was not at all threatened by Elektra's powers. They seem to equal each other's strengths. I just don't know if Darna's beam can match Elektra's lightning bolts. Seriously, more than looking like Cleopatra, Regine's costume reminded me of Marin the Assistant of Commander Com in SHAIDER!

Darna Book 2: Regine Velasquez as Planet Woman

Darna's Book 2 will start on Nov. 30. Regine Velasquez' devouts will be happy to see their esteemed Songbird in a Villainess role. According to Raffy Arcega a Darna Consulant " So far Regine's the only Planet Woman that has been cast. Whether she's gonna have a team remains to be seen. In the original movie, the Planet Women are called that because they steal worlds in order to annexe them as their own planet is overly populated. But in order to do that, they intend to take the Earth from its place in the Universe and displace it spatially but in doing so destroys Earth's life forms".

There's a bunch of villainesses in the presence of Rochelle Pangilinan as Babaeng Manananggal, Jackie Rice as Diabolica, Katrina Halili as Serpina and a villain Akihiro as a Vampire (talk about the Twiight series). More enemies, more action and of course Higher ratings!

Hindi Ka Nag-iisa (Love Offering for Noynoy Aquino)

People change. Regine never endorsed any politician before. Recording Hindi Ka Nag-iisa is not just pleasing the composer/partner Ogie Alcasid. It is for a bigger cause - the fate of the Philippines for the next 6 years. It is very apparent that Noynoy Aquino is being supported by some of the country's popular and bankable stars. The influence of Kris Aquino's hubby James Yap and Ateneo's Blue Eagles is also visible (Kerby Raymundo, Willie Miller, KG Canaleta, Cyrus Baguio, Enrico Villanueva, LA Tenorio, Larry Fonacier and Paulo Bugia).

This is also a good collaboration of GMA's (Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera) and ABS-CBN's (Sharon Cuneta, Boy Abunda, Anne Curtis, Bianca Gonzales, Mariel Rodriguez, Erik Santos, Bea Alonzo, & AiAi delas Alas) significant stars today.

Narda's Transformation as Darna

Finally Narda decided to become Darna. I like her transformation scene. It reminded me of Sailormoon Live except for the cartoony poses of Sailormoon and the Sailor Warriors.

When the new Darna was revealed, a number of detractors have been very skeptical of Marian Rivera's capability of matching Angel Locsin's Darna and its consistent high ratings. I now believe that bad publicities, negative comments and a lot of hard work can result to amazing ratings. Indeed, Marian can stand alone and Darna is a well loved heroine in the Philippines. I am already convinced that Marian is the new Primetime Queen!

The pilot of Darna last night generated a whopping 44.1% (AGB) 47.6 %(TNS) in Mega Manila. This is despite the fact that Marian Rivera has yet to appear. - Marian Rivera, truly the QUEEN of PRIMETIME on Philippine Television!!

Experiencing Dingdong Dantes VCD/DVD

The Dingdong Dantes Experience VCD/DVD's an instant hit. Imagine it easily reached Gold status in a week's time. When I heard about this album, I initially thought that Dingdong is merely following the career path of Piolo Pascual. I was wrong! It's a good thing that this is more of a personal album geared towars showing the humane side of Dingdong. It didn't make a laughing stock out of him by forcing him to sing. Instead, it capitalized on his dancing and hosting skills.

I am sure this will hit the Platinum status in less than a month's time. Dingdong was sincere it his autograph signing. He talked to his fans and gave each one of them a personalized touch. He enjoyed what he's doing, even in the most humid malls in Metro Manila.

For sure, many fans will truly enjoy--- Experiencing Dingdong's...
