This is Regine's Rare Live Performance of one her quaint recordings. Isang Lahi is the theme song of the movie Gabi Na Kumander. If I'm not mistaken, she recorded this as Chona Velasquez. This song became popular especially in singing contests for the Linggo Ng Wika (National Language Month).
What made this performance very special was the fact that she sang this at around 8:30am. A very untimely hour for singers especially if you are known as a power belter. Regine is truly a Songbird that defies time.
