Rhap Salazar @ Ellen DeGeneres Show

It's heart warming to see a Filipino talent like Rhap Salazar appearing in the Ellen De Generes Show. It's his birthday wish--- coming true. So young singers who can belt (gauge of a bright singing career in the Philippines) and want Exposure can just use this proven practice. They can also malinger that they have a rare disease and would simply want to impart his or her talent worldwide.

Rhap's version of All By Myself (Celine Dion) was not as impressive compared to his performances in WCOPA, Wowowee and ASAP. It's pretty obvious his throat was sore ( with something (an alien matter)). I'd say this again, Filipino talents are being recognized in the US. The most unfortunate reality is that these artists (Charice, Rhap & Arnel Pineda) always fail to mention a single Filipino artist that they idolized and emulated. Maybe it's their way of subtly implying that they want to perform with the Famous & Formidable US artists (like Whitney Houstoon).

I got dismayed by Charice's blatant appreciation to these Famous US talents before. Her strategy and appeal to the emotions of the American audience definitely paid off (she's getting bigger and better in the US music scene). Now, it's Rhap her bff or should i say gbf who is doing the same thing. I have high hopes for Kris Angelica the Birit Baby who can belt like Regine Velasquez. I just hope that when her time comes in performing in Ellen or some foreign show, she will make me more proud as a Filipino, who truly values his or her lineage.

As for Rhap, hopefully, when Oprah invites you, you'll be more proud of your roots. I'm looking forward to seeing you in After Ellen.com!

All By Myself Ellen DeGeneres Version

All By Myself WICOPA & ASAP version thanks to marlejen09 & ShowbizPinoy2 for the videos.

He's amazing! I always watch ASAP because of him and Jed Madela... And Ellen looks awesome. I hope I look and be as successful like her when I'm in my 50s...

That was the most bunch of BS I've ever heard in a long time. STOP DREAMING! Hahaha. Honestly, Rhap, Rhalph, Raph, whatever this kid's name is. WILL NEVER BE FAMOUS WORLDWIDE. Nobody wants to hear some little kid sound like a girl..except the Philippines (for some odd reason). Why do Filipinos automatically think that just because a TV host or someone important from a foreign country invites a person from the Philippines to perform, it automatically means they love Filipino talent? Charice is the only one that will be recognized and obviously she deserves it. Rhap is simply riding on her fame. If they were "best friends", why don't they hang out all the time? This kid is 12. The only reason Charice probably hangs with him is that she hardly had any friends. That will change in a matter of months. Rhap will not be famous, he will never be recognized by Oprah or even reach any sort of amount of fame that Charice has already achieved. Not only was his performance GAYYYY, it was just plain embarassing. Just look at the artists he mentioned. Might as well start dressing him up in drag. Hahaha. It's hilarious how Filipinos quickly jump at this whole "guesting" as opportunities for all Filipinos. I BET someone bugged Ellen's show to feature Rhap and she gave in. Pathetic. Believe me, it'll be a while til another artist from the Philippines gets "found" by American mainstream music. That little girl people are trying to promote as the next Charice, total fail once again. She will just be another "belter" in the Philippines. Truth is, CHARICE is the real deal and there will never be another one like her in a while. Rhap & that little girl..they're meant to stay in the Philippines.

All you Charice fans out there, she sounds like a chipmunk and looks like one, too. So it was just right for her to be in the Chipmunks movie coz' she is one of them. Actually, it's an insult to the chipmunks for Charice to be compared to these cute creatures. Hahahaha!!! All you Charice followers, here's an acorn. Shove it up your filthy a$$!!!!
