Regine's been working hard again rehearsing for Regine's Most Requested, hosting in SOP and shooting her new movie with Aga Muhlach (Umboy at Bern). These are the reasons why for the past two weeks her voice seemed to have lost its usual power in her Versions segment in SOP. Her voice's fatigued.
Once again, she amazed everyone that Regine Velasquez is definitely not going through a Mariah Carey voice Breakdown. This is her repertoire and just imagine how these songs can be very vocally challenging even to professional singers like her.

This is Regine's way of helping a colleague in the music industry-Carlo Bulahan. The Tux & Regine were managed by Ronnie Henares in the early 80s till the late 90s. This was a 2 night benefit show (July 17 & 18) entiled sTUX on You...You've Got A Friend.
This is the movie theme of Oh My Girl- Walang Iba recorded by Regine Velasquez. This is the first screen team up of Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid.
The concept is derived from the Hollywood movie Tootsie starring Dustin Hoffman.
Desperate situations, require desperate measures so this is what Ogie's character (Biboy/Frida) did in this movie.
I'm assuming Ogie worked for Judy Ann (Opao/Darling) as her Personal Assistant. Somebody that acted like an aunt (tita). No wonder her clothes are soo matronic. But aren't matrons, nowadays, chic and fashionable?
Reginehas a cameo role as aproduction assistant. A Must See!
Finally, the long wait is over. Regine's Low Key album is available in Asia. This will definitely revive Regine's career in Asia. Remember that the Asia's Songbird, is the Only Filipino artist who was successful in releasing 3 asian albums. Regine's duet with Jacky Cheung "In Love with You" even beat Madonna for the No. 1 spot in MTV Asia's top 20.

Having worn high heels for more than two decades now, it's definitely fun to see Regine enjoying her stiletto heels on the catwalk as captured in this video. This is a MUST SEE and since it's an amateur vid, it's still best to watch and record this momentous celebration using your preferred medium.

GMA's 59thAnniversary at the Araneta Coliseum has the best production value as compared to its previous celebrations. GMA has truly proven that it hasevolvedand can competeglobally, not just with itsrival networks.
The presentation is definitely coherent and I love the fact that they capitalized on good visual technology. The actual tv broadcast will be more intricate and grand. I can't wait to see the finish product. If my memory serves me right, it'll be on the 21st, if not on the 28th.

So what's so special about this concert? It is Charice Pempengco's so-called first major solo concert. Initially, they were planning to stage it at the Araneta Coliseum, but due to time constraints the SMX Convention center was the more obvious choice for this special concert.
The SMX is a new concert/convention venue, so expect very good air conditioning and clean facilities. This is better than the quaint Folk Arts Theatre where new artists usually had their baptismal of fire. Charice will definitely enjoy her stage in the SMX. Also, she won't be indifferent if you compare this to the world class venues where she had performed with international artists like Celine Dion.
To make this a more memorable concert, Asia's Songbird "Regine Velasquez" will grace her show. Charice's appearance in Divas 4 Divas (US) is just a teaser. Finally, speculations and fan wars will be put to an end. A temporary ceasefire for these artists' loyal devotees.
There may be conflicts with these artists' schedule, but I'm sure that given their gift for music, these Divas can come up with a special duet. I'm crossing my fingers that they will perform And I'm Telling You with counterpoints of course, instead of the boring and usual When You Believe performances.
This concert will definitely banish all unfounded truths (irony) that Charice never openly declared her admiration for the Filipinos' beloved Songbird - Regine Velasquez.
